Angus Cattle of Henderson Land and Livestock

At Henderson Land and Livestock, we have spent the last several years improving the quality of the herd through genetics, nutrition management, performance management and just down right common sense management. We need our cattle to be easy fleshing, easy to work with and easy breeders. The cattle are our bread and butter so there is no tolerance for low performance. Raising cattle is a way of life for us and we enjoy seeing our cattle excel in other people's hands. Many buyers of our steers and heifers are repeat customers because they have had success with our cattle.

We also have a small Registered herd that Mike and Casey enjoy raising. We do raise a few of our own bulls but mostly females that have excelled in the Angus Association standards.

Showing cattle has become something new that our family enjoys doing. We like raising quality cattle that excel in the pasture, in the feed yard, on the rail, in select Angus programs and in the show ring.
At Henderson Land and Livestock we still do alot of things the old fashioned way. Keeping moderate traits and functional cattle are some of our goals.
