For 20 years Freckles was a big part of the Dry Box program and still has a great impact today as we kept several of his daughters and one stallion to carry on his cow sense, great disposition and excellent conformation. Freckles was always a gentleman that knew his job and did it well. He had halter looks and produced colts that could excel at anything.

Time and time again, Freckle’s offspring have shown a priceless combination of a quiet mind and top athletic ability. From Illinois to the Midwest states, people have been pleased and competitive in many events on their Freckles Gigolo horses. Freckles daughters are proving to be valuable producers in many top breeding programs. For example in years past, high selling colts at the Meyers & Fulton Production Sale and Weaver Quarter Horses, two of the top production sales in the United States, were out of daughters of Freckles Gigolo. The Freckles daughters crossed on HLC Smooth Showtime produce a big, bloomy colt with keen looks. This cross definitely exceeds our expectations

In the short time that Freckles was used in cutting he earned his NCHA Certificate of Ability and earned $4,391. Freckles was one of many champions in his pedigree. Colonel Freckles was an NCHA Champion and had earnings of $46,305. He went on to become one of the leading sires of champion cutting horses. At one time, he also ranked as the leading Maternal Grandsire in the Reined Cow Horse statistics. His sire, Jewels Leo Bars, had an ROM in Performance and had an NCHA Certificate of Ability. Rey Jay is another great one in this pedigree, he was an AQHA Champion, Superior Cutting Horse, and NCHA earnings of $20,597.

Tuck’s Page Gal is the daughter of Lee’s Page Boy, an AQHA Champion, Superior Cutting Horse, ROM in Performance, and  NCHA Certificate of Ability. His sire, Lee Cody, was also a successful cutting horse in his day with his ROM and Certificate of Ability in cutting and was an AQHA Champion.

Debbie Arcand doing well on HLC Freckles Prissy. Rick and Debbie liked her so much, they bought two full sisters.
Top PRCA calf roper, Colby Ungehauer,  has hauled horses out of Freckles Gigolo for several years. He currently hauls this son of Freckles and won around $40,000 on him in 2006.
